Hi there. I have a BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed and I’ve been having some issues later. I’m not sure how to classify them though and they seem relatively random. I have my headset connected wirelessly to the dongle, the green light on the dongle is on but both the microphone and the output just stop working at random. Sometimes it happens when opening a new app that has audio output, like a game or even youtube. Sometimes, in the same circumstances, nothing happens and it keeps working normally. The audio only goes back to normal after I disconnect and reconnect the dongle. Windows still sees the headset when that “bug” happens.
Things I’ve tried to solve it:
- A fresh install of the razer synapse, using the cleaning tool.
- Updated every driver, though I always do it anyways. Windows is also updated.
- Using the pairing tool, but for some reason, in step 6 it doesn’t recognize the headset when I connect it to the PC. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong but I tried that few times too.
- I also tried all the ports in my PC, in case one of them was the a problem.
I’m going insane here. I’ve had it happened like 5 times in a single minute and then not happen for the rest of the day. It seems so damn random I can’t think of a solution. The warranty has also ended too, so I can’t ask for support apparently. Didn’t know that was a thing.
Does anyone have any tips or have had it happen to them and knows how to solve it? Thank you.
