it worked fine before opening a game, i have checked everything you cant think of but it wont work, when i put it in 1 port audio works but no mic, it was fine before this, and if i put it in a different one the mic works but is really bad and the audio stops working.

I understand you're having issues with your headset. Have you tried the troubleshooting here? To isolate the problem, please try the steps below:
- Ensure that the ports on your computer are functioning correctly. Test other devices in those ports to confirm they work.
- Make sure your audio drivers are up to date. Get the latest Windows update.
- Make sure your apps can access the mic.
- Try to reinstall your headset drivers.
- Connect the headset to another device to determine if the issue is with the headset or the computer ports.
