The mouse works normally with the wireless dongle, but whenever I connect a USB-C cable directly to the mouse, my PC immediately starts acting weird:

Sometimes the whole PC shuts down instantly, like a power cut

USB devices such as my headset and speakers start disconnecting/blinking

The USB-C connector becomes very hot

I can smell a slight burnt plastic odor from the mouse area
I already tried another cable and the same thing happened. The cable itself looks fine.
At this point I suspect:

a short circuit inside the mouse

a faulty USB-C port
-
charging IC issue
-
or battery/power problem
Has anyone experienced this before with the Viper V3 Pro or other Razer mice?
Is it safe to continue using wirelessly?
Would this usually qualify for RMA/warranty?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
