HELP: Synapse and Cortex cover art using low color icons

Hi, the cover art for both Cortex and Synapse are broken, and normally I wouldn't care but they both use the cover art as the only way to identify the games. This all worked initially for months then I reloaded Win10 fresh and now after 3 wipes, both Synapse and Cortex have the same issue. I wasn't able to find a single post that others were having this issue so I must be doing something stupid. Anyone know the solution?
