Help with Kraken X

So I just purchased my first ever Razer device, the Kraken X headset. I have connected both split ends to the computer from every possible connection, and in Realtek I have tried Line In, Mic In, headphones things to connect. Nevertheless, my computer doesn't detect the device and it is impossible to set it as my output/input device. I've downloaded the Surround sound application but it still needs me to state the output device which isn't detected. Please help me. Thanks :)

Naomch05 I have the Kraken X and my computer does not "see" it either. Also, when I play Pubg, it is very quiet with footsteps and other noises. If I can't figure it out, I'm going to return them and try another set.

Hey everyone! Thanks for posting your concerns here. Did you install 7.1 Surround Sound? This is an analog headset, a device that is connected through 3.5mm jack. Razer Synapse only detects USB type and Chroma enabled devices. Should you additional assistance, please send me a PM. Let's continue from there.
