Help with mic

i dont know how to navigate razer that well but i found this page https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5394/kw/mic and followed the steps to try to fix my mic not picking up any sound, nothing worked and i also found that when i flip the mic button on and off it picks up a tiny but of sound or when if its on and i unextend it, it sometimes picks up a little sound but thats all i could get it to do, can anybody help me. (i have restarted my computer and reinstalled audio driver thing, i have also updated audio drivers)
