Help with replacing QHD panel on Razer Blade 15 Advanced (mid-2021)

Hey all,

I cracked the QHD 165hz screen on my mid-2021 Razer Blade 15 Advanced and I’m trying to replace it. I removed the cracked panel and found this product number: N156KME-GNA. So I searched it on Ebay and found that it led to what are other 15.6” QHD 165hz panels and bought this one specifically. The panel is exactly the same size and has the same 40-pin connector in exactly the same spot. The issue is, when I connect the new panel to the laptop, the panel gets power but it does not display anything. I can confirm that the laptop is booting up as I can connect another screen to it via HDMI and that works. I’m wondering if there’s anything else that needs to be done for the panel replacement to get it to recognize and send display to the new panel.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, please don't try to connect any wrong LCD display with your razer blade laptop because you can end up destroying the motherboard. Now you can buy all razer blade laptop screens from pctech.co.in

Don’t the advanced model come with 240 or 360 htz, maybe that is why it did not work? Is there a 165 htz version of advanced ?
