Hello guys
From today I have a little problem whenever I want to change the volume up or down
On the screen, before when I wanted to adjust the sound I had only the blue circle notification, now I have this huge square saying is firefox or watherver playing something, but I dont care of that, it take so much place
So my question its there a way to disable that notifcation saying what App is playing the sound ? I just want back the little notification in blue
Thanks

The media notification appears as you're playing a tab with audio in Firefox. I don't think there's a way to easily disable the notification. This only works if you have supported music applications running (i.e. Firefox, Edge, Spotify, YouTube). It's normal and not an issue.
Well I have razor synapse for years now, and I still use youtube / or other tab that make sound / video
And never happened to me until now, to have this big notifcation added, its not easthetic and take too much place for nothing.
I changed nothing from yesterday, maybe there was an update ? i dont know

I believe Firefox has updated the browser software to incorporate this. I've noticed it in Edge and Chrome as well.
However, good news for you, I have found a workaround to this which you may be able to try for Firefox:

It's confirmed that version 81 onwards does feature Hardware Media Key Handling, which can be disabled in the configuration. Give it a try and see how it goes.

Worked!
