So I literally just got the viper v2 pro and the hyper-polling dingle. I plug the mouse in and it works perfectly. Synapses tells me there is a firmware update for the mouse and when I go to update it, it tells me to turn it off. Check. Then to plug it in via the USB cable that came with it. Check… But that’s it. Nothing happens. So I tried to redo it after a pc restart just to make sure it was fresh. Then when I go to do it again, Synapses tells me there's a firmware update… And the firmware updater tells me it’s already up to date….

Now for the Hyperpolling dingle. I plug it into the USB cable I got with the mouse and…. nothing. Synapses doesn’t see it and there is no light on the dingle that lights up. Defective maybe? Synapses did have an update after I plugged it in though. But.. still not working.

I’d try it on another PC. You could also check if it’s visible in windows device manager, but as you told, that no light is seen on the dongle - it may be dead.

It is visible in window devices manager.

Were you ever able to get this working? I’m having the same issue after updating firmware.

It is visible in window devices manager.

I’d try doing Synapse clean reinstall then:

  1. Uninstall Synapse
  2. Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
  3. Then restart your PC
  4. After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).

After it’ll be detected by Synapse - pair it with mouse again.
