High temperature Razer Blade 15 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti - 12th Gen Intel 14-Core i7 CPU - 15.6” QHD 240Hz 2022

Hello, I purchased a Razer Blade 15 Razer CH580 in 2022. Initially, I had no issues, the laptop was working fine. However, a few days ago, the computer started shutting down out of nowhere while in suspension. Upon checking the temperatures, I found that the processor temperatures are very high. Currently, I can't even use the laptop for basic tasks because it overheats, even though the task manager shows 0% GPU usage and no more than 10% CPU usage. I want to know if anyone else has had this problem or if anyone knows how to fix it. I'm very upset because it was very expensive and the laptop only lasted about a year. If this is an issue with this specific unit, is there any way to fix it even if I have to pay because the warranty has expired?

I have the exact same problem.  Running incredibly hot, even painful to touch during normal browsing or other mundane tasks. And sometimes shutting down unexpectedly while in sleep mode.  During gaming it will throttle and touching even the top of parts of the laptop will burn your skin if not careful!!  My model is the 2022 Blade 15 - RZ09 - 0421

Disassembly bottom lid, clean the fans / fins and I’d recommend repasting CPU/GPU.

Thanks for the tip but I only bought this less than a year ago.  Fans are spotless clean.  Repasting CPU is far beyond my skill level.  And why would any user be expected to do that, especially if still under warranty??

To improve the factory. Excessive heating will kill the battery, also it’s not good for any other parts.

So, basically, you are suggesting that Razer laptops are bad, So fix it yourself by repasting instead of using the warranty. Also some screws has stickers so you may lose the warranty(I know that It doesn't automatically kill warranty, but they will try hard to not give it to you). Personally i had to repaste mine with ptm7950 cause it was unusable, but i understand that not everyone wants to do it, specially when you still have warranty.

No, I’m not suggesting that Razer laptops are bad - it’s the thermal paste that sometimes is not adequate quality (it refers to 90% of gaming laptops, so it’s not a Razer issue only).

To be fair, Razer laptops are more expensive than 99% of laptops. So, I would say it's pretty bad, because you expect better quality after paying that much. I mean, I've been using a Razer laptop for almost 2 years now, and it gets the job done. But I had a better experience on cheaper laptops, especially with the software they provide.
