Horrible static from Seiren Emote

I ordered it new and went through every possible avenue I could think of and found no help on Google at all. I uninstalled and reinstalled the device, its drivers, all my Razer devices and drivers, Synapse, then in reverse order did the same thing again and reinstalled. I also went through every available sound setting, nothing. An interesting bit though is that there is no gain control on my mic whatsoever. I have an older one that does, however.
