How Do I Change Rubber Pads Kishi V2

I have taken a look at the user manual and it wasn't clear to me about how to change the rubber pads on the Kishi V2 Android. I tried pulling them out but they are stuck to the Kishi and I'm afraid that I'll damage it if I try more. Is it possible to get a video demomstration of changing the rubber pads? Thanks

This site seems to only cover v1 how to. The rubber cushions do pull out. Left rubber pad to get your thumb under it then pull. I needed the thinner pads for my Pixel phone that has a large camera bump.
