I don’t really feel like I need to elaborate much on how windows modern standby is a horribly broken mess. This has been covered many times

My laptop is frequently cooking itself in my backpack due to whatever windows is trying to do during standby (probably one of their relentlessly frequent updates). This happens very frequently.

This laptop needs to support s3 sleep since modern standby is fundamentally broken. I’m using hibernate in the meantime, but please implement s3 sleep, it’s not optional given the current state of modern standby.
