so I was having a problem with my headphones not being able to detect any sound. when I was some tutorials one of them suggested to delete the sound drive from the device manager and restart the pc so that they can be reinstalled. out of desperation I also deleted the 7.1 surround sound speaker in the device manager thinking it will also be reinstalled. after the pc restarted, I was able to detect sound with my headphones again but when I checked the device manager I realized that the 7.1 surround sound speaker was not reinstalled. I tried out a few solutions but none of it seems to work. if any of you know how I can fix this problem please let me know.
