How do I turn off Razer animated wallpaper?

Hi!

I just set up my new Razer Blackshark V.2 Pro headset! I’m liking it. Except when I set it up, I accidentally installed the Razer Steam Engine wallpaper that I can’t seem to get rid of. I tried switching backgrounds in Windows 11 and nothing’s worked. I like the wallpaper, it’s cool, but I would still like to be able to switch it out, so if anyone can show me how to get rid of this for now, I would greatly appreciate it.

Open Razer Axon, bottom left corner you’ll see Monitor 1, 2 etc.  just click the correct monitor and then the X for the wallpaper you’ve selected.

Hi there!

It sounds like you're enjoying your Razer Blackshark V.2 Pro headset but want to switch the Razer Steam Engine wallpaper. To turn off or change the animated wallpaper, follow these steps:

  1. Open Razer Synapse: This is the software that controls all your Razer peripherals, including the wallpaper settings.

  2. Go to Chroma Studio: In the Razer Synapse app, navigate to the Chroma Studio section where you can customize lighting and background settings.

  3. Change the Wallpaper: You should see options to either disable the Razer Steam Engine wallpaper or switch it to a different one. Simply select a different wallpaper or turn off the Razer animation.

  4. Adjust Windows Background: If it still doesn’t change, ensure that your Windows background settings are adjusted to a static image. Right-click on your desktop > Personalize > Background, and select your preferred wallpaper.

If the issue persists, try reinstalling the Razer software or checking for updates.
