How do you Disable Razer Synapse Automatic Updates?

How do  you disable automatic updates for Razer Synapse? There’s a thread from about 2 years ago which is no longer relevant and I don’t see any options in the settings. Is there any way to do this, short of permanently blocking the connection for all Razer executables in Windows 11?

I’d like to know too. The latest update for Synapse 3 has bricked countless Tartarus keypads and having an ability to ‘wait and see’ on any future updates would be ideal as Razer are about as reliable as Windows update.

Go to the Icons on the bottom right of the task bar → right click on razer synapse → settings → should get you to the old setting, where you can disable automatic software updates

Seems this has been removed in Synapse 4, which is annoying because the last two background updates cause my Deathstalker V2 Pro and Basilisk V3 to stop working and only a full Windows 11 reboot fixes it. How can they be so bad at this years later?

When you right-click the Razer icon in the systray though and go to Settings, the installed apps are listed and you should have control of which version you have of each, installing updates whenever you prefer.

Not here. It just says Auto updates enabled with no way to change it. There’s also no update setting in the keyboard or mouse properties in Synapse.

Oh wow I just saw that too. Yes it looks like it’s got an in-built auto-updater.
