How to Connect Nommo V2 X to PS5 Pro

Hi, I just bought the Nommo V2 x speakers and would like to connect them to PS5 Pro via HDMI to my monitor which is a Alienware AW3225QF. I have tried connecting speakers to the USB out on monitor but no sound coming out? not sure if I’m missing a setting somewhere?

If I can’t connect to monitor, how can I connect directly to PS? I have tried this and played with settings and still nothing coming out?

 

So, I would prefer to connect to monitor to keep a usb port free on PS, but will do anything to get them to work.

 

Please help me, I’m now stuck? Thanks

    Hi, I have enabled HDMI CEC in the Others menu as well, still no joy.

    Hi again, I now have them working while plugged directly into PS5, which is weird as I have done nothing different. So, can anyone advice if I can connect these to the monitor, and I get the sound from there please.
