I’m new to Synapse and having some trouble setting it up.
Firstly, I downloaded the original Synapse app and was able to add my compatible Govee lights just fine. When I saw there was a newer version Synapse, I downloaded it instead but in that app I don’t see anywhere that I can add a new device (my Govee lights). They are compatible with Synapse 3. It does detect my mouse and keyboard just fine though. So how can I add my Govee lights to Synapse 3?
Another issue I’m having is how do I add games to Synapse Connect? I have already added the games I want under the profiles heading. But when I go to Synapse Connect, I see a link to add apps and games, so I click on it, and it takes me to a website where I see a listing of all the supported games. However, when I click on a game it just gives me a description and there is no option to add it to Synapse.
How exactly do my Govee strip lights (compatible with Synapse) work with Synapse? For example, when I’m playing a game that is connected to Synapse, my RGB mouse and keyboard will sync with the game. Will my Govee gaming lights also sync with the game?
Lastly, I can’t get Alexa to respond to the commands that can be used with her and Razer. I have Alexa set-up in Synapse and have linked the Razer skill to Alexa. Although I have multiple lights, Alexa displays them all as one, under Chroma Lighting. This is fine, but when I use one of the listed commands (ex. Set Chroma Lighting to Spectrum cycling), Alexa with either say, “I don’t know how to do that,” or it will chime as if it applied the effect, but I can’t see any changes in my lights. Can Alexa only control my Razer device, or can she also control third party supported devices, like my Govee gaming lights?
