How to create a hold/release macro off a toggle

I've found a ton of threads on the direct opposite of what I'm trying to do but not this. In league of legends, you're able to toggle the camera lock on/off with Y, I want to make it so that instead of it being a toggle, it to be a hold/release. So that when I press down the key, it unlocks the camera from my character and when I release it re-locks onto my camera. I know that you can use space to make it lock on your character for as long as you hold it, however I'm trying to make it do the exact opposite of that. so that it *unlocks* for as long as I hold it. Any ideas?

Hi there! Thanks for posting your inquiry here. However, this feature will fall as a feature request. You can always remap and assign the lock and unlock but to reverse or alter its function is not part of Razer Synapse's feature. Once there is a hold/unlock feature native to your LOL settings, then you can map/bind that settings to Razer Synapse.

Is there not a way to create a macro that would achieve this function? That’s what I’m trying to do.

That's not possible at the moment, but I appreciate the idea. I suggest to post your inquiry here or use the feedback options under Razer Synapse 3.0 so our devs can see/receive your message.
