How to make audio recordings with the Razer Seiren V2 Pro

Hi,

I recently bought a Razer Seiren V2 Pro microphone.  I want to use it to make audio recordings for voiceover work.  I’ve downloaded Synapse on my Windows 10 laptop and it seems to be set up correctly.  The microphone is correctly linked to Synapse as well.

I’ve played around with the ‘Mic’ and ‘Stream Mixer’ tabs on Synapse, but I can’t seem to figure out how you simply make an audio recording with this software.  I would have expected clear icons such as ‘Start Recording’, ‘End Recording’ and a way to play the recordings back.  I can’t find any guidance on this on the Razer support pages.  Can you give me some specific guidance on how I make an audio recording with this microphone?

    Hi, I might have old information but recordings are done with separate programs like audacity that is free. Synapse can only change presets and audio

    Thanks very much for this comment.  I downloaded Audacity and the mic is working fine with it.
