How to order replacement wrist wrest (magnetic) for Razer Blackwidow Elite

The magnetic wrist rest for my Razer Blackwidow Elite is starting to wear away, but I really love the build quality of it. I’ve done a lot of searching online, but there doesn’t seem to be any way to order a new one.

Forums recommend contacting Razer Support, but it seems impossible to actually get in contact with a human with this company.

Has anyone experienced luck with getting a replacement wrist rest ordered?

Thanks!

I’ve been trying to replace or refurbish my magnetic wrist for my Razer BlackWidow Elite since less than a year after I purchased it in October 2019. I contacted support less than year after purchasing it (10 months) asking them to honor the warranty to replace the wrist rest, but they refused to honor their own warranty. I graciously offered to purchase the wrist rest instead, but they also didn’t offer that. 😂

So good luck with this anti-consumer company (hopefully someone will class-action them for this or something similar).

I’m still using this wonderful-quality keyboard with this embarrassing-looking tattered wrist-rest and won’t be purchasing another Razer keyboard due to their lack of acknowledgement of what is obviously is a widespread product design problem that should have been recalled. Clearly the wrist rest’s faux-leather breaks down from normal wear and tear / natural skin oils or hand lotion (I barely use any, if any at all).

Here’s a photo of another device (not my own) I found in about 30 seconds from an Amazon review that perfectly resembles my wrist rest; you can find several other photos in their review section just like it.

I also had the same problem.  Wrist pad wore out and the ones they sell aren’t magnetic.  Such a pain in the ass.  I don’t think I’ll be buying any more keyboards from Razer if they don’t honor their own warranty.  Pisses me off.

I have the same problem with my Blackwidow Elite.  The wrist pad is awesome and the magnetic attachment is genius (and very effective), but I need to order a replacement.  I am happy to pay for it.  I see they sell some other wrist rests, but none of those appear to have the magnets in them ?

I found a used keyboard on eBay for like $30. This is the only way unfortunately

The wrist rest for the BlackWidow Elite is no longer for sale via Razer.com. You can try checking for third-party online sellers, like what @Claw_Nasty did, and see if they can offer that separately or paired to a keyboard. You can also try checking the nearest Razer resellers in your area and see if they are still offering it through this link. Feel free to send me a PM should you need additional assistance.
