Hey there!

Thank you very much for sharing your issue here. I'm Michelle and will be your technical companion for today.

Regarding your issue, could you please let us know which version of Razer Cortex you installed on your PC?

If you did not use the latest version of Razer Cortex, please uninstall the current version and do a clean installation of the latest one from our official website?

If you have already installed the latest version of Razer Cortex on your PC, please try to disable the FPS-related feature to remove the FPS overlay feature. Then, check again whether this issue persists.

Please check the attachments to see more details.

Thank you very much for your patience. We'll be looking forward to your reply soon.

Best regards,
Michelle Chang
Razer Cortex Team

I don't have razer downloaded at all. I used to have the old version of razer cortex but I've uninstalled it a long time ago. I've tried doing those things that you mentioned already but it still doesn't fix it.

Hi there!

We found that the FPS overlay is not from Razer Cortex. It is a steam feature called 'In-game FPS counter'. If you want to remove it, please launch Steam client, go to 'Settings' > 'In-Game' and turn off the In-game FPS counter. Please check the image below.

Please feel free to let us know if you need further assistance.

Oh my bad, thanks
