How to stop the keyboard sleeping when synapse is closed

I have tried to contact support vi the website and had no luck, posted that issue too so I am posting this in hopes to find an answer to my original issue.

When I close synapse, the keyboard LEDs will always go off after ~5 seconds

I don't want to have synapse running 24/7 for obvious battery drain issues but is there way to stop the keyboard from going off after that time?

I have changed the settings in synapse to timeout after 10 minutes for the keyboard LEDs for both battery and plugged in.

Does anyone ese have this issue? And if so, does anyone know of a way to correct this? Is there a default timeout config I can change or something to stop this from happening without having to have synapse wasting resources?

Without Synapse, the keyboard's lightings will revert to its default settings, and there's no way to change its default settings. If you have any other concerns, feel free to send me a message.
