How to turn off lighting while charging mouse? | Razer Insider

I have the Razer Basilisk Ultimate and accompanying charging dock. As much as I love how the lighting on these look, I do not want them on when my PC is turned off. Yet I want my mouse to still be able to charge while my PC is turned off, as that is when I am not using it.

Therefore I cannot turn off my powered USB ports otherwise I will be unable to charge the mouse.

The "Switch off lighting when display is turned off" setting in synapse will turn off the lighting for my mouse and dock, but as soon as I place my mouse on the dock it starts lighting up again, with the red/yellow/green breathing it shows to indicate battery percentage.

Is there a way for me to make all lights turn off, and stay off, when my PC is not on, yet keep them powered?

I understand what you want to achieve here. However, soon as the mouse receives power from any USB source, it will give off its default Chroma lighting effect. Thus, the "Switch off lighting when the display is turned off" menu will only work while the Razer Synapse communicates with the mouse. Completely turning off the computer with powered USB will still charge your device and this kick start the breathing Chroma effect. I’ll be locking this thread now.
