Hunstman keyboard stabilizer not fitting

Our brand new Huntsman Mini Enter key appears to be broken. The left stabilizer won't go in all the way and seems to get stuck when pressing on the key more than very lightly. Under the key there appears to be a piece sticking out on the left side. Any thoughts on what could be going on?
