I just bought the huntsman mini which I totally love in terms of look and feel... but I'm returning it right away :(
This is the 2nd time I buy a razer product and have to return it, both times the product had so much potential and both times seems like "lack of test" is the reason the product is barely usable, a real pitty cause I truly love the look and feel.
Well, I go to the point. Got the keyboard yesterday and I wasn't able to use the "onboard" profiles, synapse lets me load them and all that but when I cycle trough them in the keyboard with synapse turned off they do not work (I always get the same "Spectrum cycling" lighning no mater what I loaded into the profile).
So I headed to the support page for the keyboard and found that there is firmware update, I though "Great! this might fix the issue"... After installing the driver the keyboard FN combos were messed and the windows taskbar unusable, the FN combos were fixed once I launched again synapse but the windows taskbar is broken for the span of 4 to 5 minutes every time I start windows (that is simply unbearable, I have to reinstall windows now but I cannot keep a keyboard that I know can cause that, not the keyboard itself, but the support attached to it).

Still happening... No fixes yet? Love spending $130 on a keyboard for it not to work because I have an AMD cpu.
Extra points for not being able to use it to access a pre boot environment.
Even better when you update BIOS, and your sign in pin has to be changed but to OS loops because it can't load because of a KEYBOARD.

This issues show testing and software development problems inside company. Razer cant realise that Intel no more the one and only hardware people buy. Amd on the horse right now. Somehow support stop sending me answers for my Viper 8k. Mouse still dragging randomly in bios and Windows. Huntsman mini still phantom press button stucks. Super strange products and support from razer dev team.

Hey ChillyRide. Sorry that this has been an ongoing issue. The Razer Viper 8K's concerns have been escalated to our devs and it is still under investigation. However, the Razer Huntsman Mini's key registration concern is something else. I've notified the team since the firmware that was last released is intended to resolve the freezing/lagging while connecting the keyboard to an AMD-operated computer.

Good morning,i had the same issue a few months ago and it "broke"my pc ones.After format it what i did in order to keep using the keyboard(because i really like it)is ,first at all with the software still installed i programmed the keys i wanted.The keyboard will make the pc slow but is just in order to do that step.After that i deleted the software ,plug my old keyboard and then you navigate to deviced and i blocked the drivers.Then just restart the pc with the razer keyboard and you wont have any problem anymore.
You will only be able to have the "breathing effect " BUT ,you can use the keyboard as normal + you will still have the key programmed .I know because i programmed also as "enter" they key just above the default "enter" and i still have the "2 enters"even without any trace of software or drivers.
I did this 2 or 3 months ago so i didnt remember exactly what i did but if there is anyone interested i will try to find the "youtube comment"which helped me doing this.
By the way i have AMD micro

This is dumb. Right before the Razer Firmware update, razer offered to replace my Razer Huntsman Mini with an Elite due to the bug. Now after the firmware update, it seems that other bugs still happen. Razer offered to give back the Huntsman mini for the elite, but I am so confused if I should do so, due to the bugs. Also I opened the case in November and they did this to me. This is my first time purchasing a gaming keyboard and I hated the experience. Never buying from razer in the future.

Lo mismo que a tí, varias teclas que funcionan cuando quieren (i,o) y lag.

i am sick and tired of using a keyboard which just dosnt work, i spent around $7k building beast of a system only to be bottlenecked by a keyboard. this just dosnt make any sense. if you dont refund me or offer me a replacement. i am just going to sell this off and get a different brand keyboard which actually works TBH. I have already tried everything in your excel sheet and the bios drivers. Disconnecting the keyboard at boot also dosnt work as how else am i going to use my pc without a keyboard!? connecting it back after boot still take 5 minutes as the whole system is stuck due to keyboard.

Thanks for letting me know. Please send me your computer's Razer Synapse logs too so I can assist you in generating a case and submit it to our Support Team and devs. Save the compressed files via Google Drive or any online drive account, then paste the link in your PM.

Oh and they send out the wrong colour... WTF i mean it isnt even the same color. My original was black and they sent me a white one.. you couldnt write this stuff.
I then messaged the RMA email back that we were using for contact regarding the full procedure and said you have sent me a white one and the reply i got was to start another RMA ticket as that one was closed and there was nothing they could do.
Absolutely one of the worst experiences i have ever recieved from a company.
Oh and to top it off we have the firmware issues to deal with..

There may be no replacement stock for your preferred keyboard model/design or the team has sent an incorrect keyboard color. I'll pick it up from there.

Just wanted to chime in and say I'm having the same unresponsive taskbar issue at login with a Razer Huntsman Tournament Edition and Intel 9900KF cpu. It doesn't happen every single time, but enough to be an annoyance for sure. Started happening when I upgraded from an Intel 8700 to the 9900KF - all other hardware is exactly the same, and no other instability issues (everything works fine once I get past the hanging explorer.exe issue). Motherboard is an ASUS Z370-A. I reinstalled Windows 10 as a troubleshooting step, and it happened the first or second time booting into the fresh install before I even had drivers installed, but I have since applied all the latest manufacturer drivers and patches as well.
I opened a ticket with Razer today and will work with them to see how I can help, but wanted to share my experience here as well.
