Hello everyone! The support team/devs mentioned that users reported that they suddenly experienced system lag after updating the keyboard firmware to v1.01 and most of them have AMD processors. The issue has been reported and is currently investigated. Should I receive any progress, I'll post it here.

Thank you, Your updates are appreciated, For now I have switched back to using my old no name brand 60% mech keyboard instead of my Huntsman Mini.

Now thats extremely rude and inappropriate behavior from MODS. Moderator deleted my post. Time to delete thread? Reason of deleting? Any alerts, warnings? I am going to reddit dear razer stuff. Deleting posts is the last thing u could do. By this u admit that problems are unsolvable and Razer Company got huge problems in general. Be carefull guys.
i have huntsman mini. so i should just return it? expect that razer wont fix this issue? sucks i really like the KB

3+ month and they cant fix it yet. Incompetent devs and too slow support. I am selling all my razer devices right now.

yeah im going to do the same. never buying razer products again.
I would like to add another data point. I'm experiencing the same issue with my new Ryzen 9 5950X and X570 motherboard. Took me ages and a lot of frustration to figure out it was my Huntsman Mini...
i have ryzen 5800x, asus b550-i, evga 3070xc3, same problem, but,
I was able to solve in a provisional way, placing the usb of the keyboard in the slots of the monitor, because my monitor has 2 usb extensions, if your monitors have, they can solve that way, while a firmware arrives

Doesnt solved for me.
I have started using the driver from my Tournament edition, it boots fine MOST of the time however I can't use the function keys with this driver.

I've also noticed if you uninstall the driver for the mini from device manager and reboot in my experience I have no issues ( So basically windows installs the driver once you boot in ) but obviously also not a solution as you would have to uninstall before shutting down every time...
guys please do me a favor and return the keyboard i did it and got my money back also no point waiting it's been like that for a few months save yourselves from the frustration of this crap keyboard

p.s i am never buying anything from razer again in my life - ordered a different keyboard that works well for more than half the price cheaper (60%)

Doesnt solved for me.

For me it worked. So what I did: remove all Razer related software from my computer and connect the keyboard via some form of USB hub (the hub in my monitor works for me, but I'm guessing any hub should be fine)

The trouble now is that my keyboard tends to go into some kind of error mode from time to time (the keys light up red when I press the FN key). This happens especially on Linux and the only way to get it out of it is to boot into Windows and reapply the the config via Synapse.

Lol man it impresses me that you are still trying. Just return it and buy another keyboard.

Agree, but I like it very much and my pc turned on 24/7 , mostly. 🙂 Was on insider build for 1 week. Last update broke completely Windows. Cant reboot pc and turn off power 😃 So switched back to stable. My razer devices on sale right now. Probably will switch to Asus.
If it is frustrating all the time they have taken to solve, being such an expensive keyboard also, I have had many razer products, 2 laptops, 2 keyboards, this is the third, 2 mice, and the first time something like this happens to me
Well looks like I inadvertently joined this exclusive club. Just purchased the huntsman mini on Saturday to now have explorer crash on me. I love this keyboard and really don't want to return it, but I also don't want to be stuck with a broken product. I've got 14 days I believe with BestBuy.

Sadly I'm passed the return period or it would've gone back as I waited too long to use it as I was busy with work.

Razer need to make a statement about this ASAP, Publicly.
As I was asked by a Razer rep on here to make a ticket, As well as them knowing exactly what the issue is, Buggy keyboard firmware, I got a reply today AFTER I plainly said in the ticket that this is a keyboard firmware issue that Razer are aware of but I was asked to also submit a ticket, Customer services said I should "reinstall synapse".

Seriously Razer your customer service have the IQ of shrimp, They don't even read customers tickets properly and then they reply with the same old copy/paste script "reinstall synapse" as well as my personal favourite "try a different usb port"

Such a weird company management. All normal IT companies every morning got meatings and everybody know all company problems, what they should do, how and when to solve them and what to say for customers. Yet Razer cant get to it. Cant manage to speak dev team with support team. Its like dev team is on outsource (third party company, not Razer employees) solve issues only when Razer say them to do it and pay. Stupidly weird!

Their departments from my own experience seem to not be connected properly, Plus we are in a pandemic so we gotta give em some slack.

Disagree. I used to work in support. It’s pretty easy to get a team (even working remotely) across new issues that are occurring especially after they have been occurring consistently for a couple of months. Their level 1 support involves copy pasting from a list of options, nothing more. Honestly their level 1 support is probably a bot that has the most basic NLP and isn’t really fit for purpose.

Also I’m getting the vibe that this issue will not be fixed at all. They seem to be hoping that we all shut up about the issue as we are not the majority of their customer base. Aside from this it seems like this keyboard has a lot of other issues (e.g keys becoming unresponsive, FN functionality not working properly, lighting issues).

I think it’s just a dud product and we all just got stuck with the worst issue this keyboard has.

I can tell that there is no such issues on Windows Insider builds. Also on reddit AMD confirm that they have some USB issue with their chipsets and CPU. So probably Razer devs cant fix this due to problems from other vendors. Strange times. Also if people report this issue from the hole world its definitely must concern full Razer stuff. But 3+ month... Dont know what to think and expect.

I have 4 other keyboards, Razer Blackwidow X Chroma, Corsair K65 LUX, Logitech Bluetooth and a custom built Mech keyboard with USBC, ALL work perfectly and do not cause slow boot, Explorer crash etc... it's the Huntsman 1.01 firmware update in September that messed something up.
