So i have a huntsman mini with purple switches for probably 2 or more years now.
About 1 month after i bought it some switches were popping out of the frame (if i remember the issue correctly, it was the key “s” and another one). I contacted razed warranty and they fixed the keys, after that the keyboard worked fine for about a year when the “z” key led got un synchronized, since it was a minor issue i didn’t bother and let it like this until 4-5 weeks ago. When all of sudden four or five more keys’ leds got unsynchronized too, they were all close to one another, at the same row, except for one, and they all seemed to be unsynced equally, what i mean is the the defective keys were synched togheter among themselves but differently from the rest of the keyboard. I tried fixing it with razer synapse and it didn’t work. Then i tired deep cleaning the keyboard the way razer recommends, taking care and cleaning sketchy parts with a cotton head and isopropanol. It didint work, But again i wasn’t really bother by the looks of it.
The real problem came one week after the leds, when the “y” key started spamming, that is, sometimes when i pressed it it would input the letter more then once, the input length ranged from 2 to 6-7 characters, again, even tho it caused un comfort i let it slip one last time.
Now, at the time i am writing this, about 30 minutes ago, while playing video games, out of nowhere, almost a fourth of my keyboard keys simply stopped working, when i press them nothing happens, nothing seems wrong with the switches, I tried plugging into another pc and even resetting the keyboard. Nothing works, like 1/30 times i press the key it inputs. Now most of the leds are messed too. I honestly don’t know what to do because i know it’s out of warranty but i’ve been a client of razer for such a long time, almost all my stuff is razer, and, even tho more then two years is a long time, i honestly expected more reliability for a keyboard that costs more then 200 dollars in my country (converting). I am very disappointed and truly hope something can be done. My guess is there’s something wrong underneath the switches which is messing up the inputs but truly i don’t know.
