Hi, this was my husband’s old gaming keyboard and has been in storage for a bit while we moved. I’m trying to hook it up to my daughter’s laptop, but it’s not recognized as a keyboard. I’ve tried connecting it to my Windows 11 laptop as well, and tried different cords, but I don’t think they’re original to the keyboard. I can get the keyboard into and out of demo mode it seems, but it’s not responsive when out of demo mode. It lights up just fine in demo mode. Computers won’t detect it as a keyboard and neither will the firmware updater.
What did the original cord look like? What should I be using? I’m wondering if maybe it’s only getting power with the cords I have, and some other kind of cord is needed to use it outside of demo mode. I’d just like to get it usable again. Never encountered an issue like this with a plug-in keyboard.
