Hyperpolling 8k isnt getting detected on my pc

just bought the deathadder v3 pro faker edition that came with the hyper polling dongle, but my pc cant seem to detect the hyper polling dongle. when i plug the hyper polling dongle in by itself, my pc doesnt make a noise or nothing new registers in device manager, but when i plug in the mouse usb to it, it works, but still doesnt detect the hyper polling dongle. its as if im using the hyper polling dongle as just a usb slot. how do i fix this??
