Hypershift button on keyboard activates mouse hypershift but mouse hypershift does not activate keyboard hypershift

I have a razer blackwidow v3 pro & a basilist v3 X hyperspeed.

When using the hypershift button on the keyboard, the mouse goes into hypershift mode too but when using the hypershift button on the mouse, the keyboard does not go into hypershift mode.

This is quite frustrating as I much prefer to use the hypershift button on the mouse, why does it not work like the keyboard hypershift button and how can I get it to have the same behaviour?
