Beloved razer supporters and tech ppl, I have a challenge for you. I believe I am not the problem here (but I’m open to being), I will take any suggestions towards fixing my problem (besides of calling an exorcist).

 

Here is the background:

 

I have been using one of the old razer naga chroma (for years! I treasure my things and I make them last as much as possible). Recently, a couple of things happened (and I think there are 2 different issues, but the focus is on fixing the later).

 

First, my (old) razer naga chroma would start spamming number “1”  (truly feels it has been possessed) randomly when I was in any text box (this was across apps), it would stop spamming (for a random period) until I actually press the side buttons (they go from 1 to 12).  I tried everything I know of to fix it….ended up buying a new mouse a razer naga trinity (problem was not fixed, I just got tired of trying).

 

In the process of fixing the problem of my previous mouse and new one I have transitioned from  Synpaso 2.0 to 3.0. The second problem came with this. The razer synapse 3.0 didn’t appeared, not even the icon tray! what did I do? (you may ask), well let me tell you,I:

  • reinstalled > rebooted, then
  • did the services thing on the management tray, then
  • did the run as administrator thing, then
  • adding to Antivirus permissions and adding to windows firewall permissions, still not working.

 

I could only bypass this by installing synpase 3.0 beta...but then I ran into another problem!!! (can you believe it???).

 

Currently, although I have access to the mouse settings (via synpase 3.0 beta panel), they side keybinds remain of the old Razer naga chroma (it doesn’t match to the ones on the synapse beta 3.0 panel….) at this point I just want to pull my hair out and cry…. I have not had an easy transition and this is really demotivating me. I feel I am asking for a miracle now coming to you guys….

 

I got windows pro 11.

 

Happy to forward any information you might want. Or alternatively, please advise on how best to reach razer tech support
