Hello,

Hopefully someone in here has the knowledge to help me with this stupid problem, that i caused by not using my brain.

What happend was, that i was plugging in my new Razer Keyboard, and my underdeveloped brain thought it would be smart to re-route the USB cable while it was setting up on my PC. When i then tried to plug in the keyboard again, it was dead. Litteraly no sign of life.

Here is what ive tried:

  • Ive tested the keyboard on my laptop, and it works perfectly fine.
  • Ive tried to factory reset; unplug, ESCAPE, CAPS-LOCK and SPACE at the same time, plug in and release. Didnt work…
  • Ive tried to take the razer driver from my laptop and reinstall it on my PC. Didnt work…
  • Ive tried to use Razers device detection trouble shooter and that didnt work.
  • Ive tried to locate the device in device manager and i do have a unknown device, but it doesnt seem to be the keyboard, because when i uninstall it, and reload device manager, it still shows up, even with the keyboard unplugged.
  • Ive tried to uninstall all razer related driver via. command promt and still doesnt work.

I feel like my only option at this point is to re-install windows and hope that fixes it, but i wanna try and see if anyone in here has any idea’s, that could fix this problem.
