I can't get my Kraken Headset to connect its mic to my laptop

It seems like no matter what I do my computer refuses to use the headset mic, as if its turned off. It will always use my horrible built in mic on my MSI laptop. Please help, I want to be able to use my mic in games without people telling me I sound like I'm in another dimension.

Thanks for posting your Razer Kraken's concern on our Support board. What particular Kraken model is this? Have you connected the headset to a different computer/device and check if the mic issue persists?
