I can't register the product and get the activation code for "7.1 SURROUND SOUND"

A friend purchased two pairs of Razer BLACKSHARK V2 X headphones/headsets. He kept and activated one of the headphones and gave the other to me, but when he tries to activate them, he gets a message that the product is already activated. Please help resolve this issue.
