Im not able to save profile on my TODAY bought Razer Huntsman V2 keyboard. I installed synapse 3. When I drag the profile to onboard memory slot It always bump out message saying "Your profile did not transfer successfully to your device's on-board memory slot, try again..."

EDIT:

Tried running the program as admin, nothing, reinstalling it and nothing, erasing all optional modules nothing… i’m also not able to reset the keyboard settings after all that… fix this god

No, nothing seems to work, i tried a lot of things. Now i installed synapse 4 and it looks like it saves the thing, it decreases the available memory and everything, but then when i exit the program and i load the profile with the FN + the key on the right of FN, and the keyboard switches to the color of the profile. The rgb effects are the default, the macros are not there, so it looks like it does nothing…

i edited the post above with another things i tried before this ...

Hey !

When you reset synapse, was it a clean reset (delete all the remaining files after uninstallation so in program and in app data)

good luck

Yup, a complete clean up. Synapse 3 didnt let me to do anything, use on board profiles or reset the keyboard config. Synapse 4 seems to work better and more stable, but still, i think the onboard profiles do nothing.

Anyways, after reading i saw that you cant save rgb settings on onboard memory is that right? (basic config, nothing fancy with chroma or anything)

And only certain remaps…

also the remaps are very mediocre, i cant find the way to assign a key for powering off the pc, or opening a browser, or to assign actions to for example, FN + F1, or FN + F2, etc… a waste of keys…

I’d try installing Synapse 4: https://www.razer.com/synapse-4

No, Chroma settings are not stored into onboard memory unfortunately.

Yup, like i said, synapse 4 seems to work better… it uses a quite an amount of ram and uses cpu for some reason in background… razer could optimize that… it should use and consume almost anything.

I have to try more in depth, but, if i cant save rgb and remaps/macros on onboard memory whats the point? what im storing? xd

Chroma settings are not stored into onboard memory. Macros should be stored.

You can only store certain remaps, but almost nothing…

for example, if i want to invert the volume wheel behaviour, i mean turning the dial up raises the volume, and down lowers it, that i cant store it on onboard memory, its says that that needs synapse running…..

so like i said, useless onboard memory and buggy/unoptimized software.
