I've been having this issue for almost a month now and I'm getting a little pissed. I don't know if I'm the only one encountering this issue or not. Whenever I try and change the volume of my headphones with the 7.1 (surround sound) audio device it stays the same volume. It doesn't make sense to me, even if I try and mute it it's the same volume unless I change it by switching to my main headphone device, which is a USB cable. And in case you're wondering, it occurs the same way if I connect my headphones directly into the PC as well. If you can help me I'll be impressed and flattered, thank you!

I have the same issue not sure why is it like this but it works with the headset volume
It’s kinda fcked up that this is considered “solved” and there has been little recognition or actual solutions to this problem despite many people sharing they have the same issue. I know there are other threads that suggest a clean reinstallation, but I just tried updating and repairing all of my razer software and it didn’t do the trick. Some insight and work into this issue would be appreciated by those who bought headsets supporting 7.1.
