after alot of experimention, clean installs, i found the weirdest fix ever
1.Add your games/apps to steam library as unsupported (you can hide them from your steam librarylater if you want)
2. Go back to razer synapse and click scan for games
Games/apps should appear in the softwarez theyll have the correct file locations just no icons, you can add icons if you want
