Beep!

Why, god why does it need to beep constantly. I hate it so much. I'm guessing its loosing connection, but god damn why did they design it to beep constantly! I hate it so much, worst purchase ever, it's a few feet away from my pc. Yet on ps4 same distance it's fine. All would be fine if they didn't design it to beep constantly when it "looses" connection...or glitches out cuz it sux?

Hello! Are you using a USB 2.0 or a USB 3.0 port? Have you tried using other USB ports to see if the same thing happens? Let me know.
Hi,

I'm using my Thresher now for 3 months with my PS4 and I like it pretty much. The only really annoying thing about it is this beeping sound which apperears everytime I'm moving more than 5(!) meters away from my ps4. Sometimes I just want to get something to drink without putting the headset off and then this extremely annoying beep sound won't stop until I'm sitting again right in front of my PS4.

Just to give you a little more information about my setup, I'm using:
- PS4 Pro
- Front USB ports without any hub
- Thresher 7.1 PS4 Version

I'm living in a pretty small flat so it is easily possible use my PS4 with the dualshock 4 from every corner of the flat (max. distance 12m). But with my 170€ Headset I'm not able to reach the fridge to grab some water in a short break of a game.

I would now like to ask you if you have any tipps for me to fristly improve the max. connection distance between PS4 and headphones and secondly if there is any way to just make this beeping stop. I would so much appreciate your help!

Thank you very much in advance and best wishes!

Hi there! Thanks for the reply. Have you tried other USB ports to see if the range improves?
Hi,

Thank you very much for your quick reply.

Yes, I've tried all ports on my PS4 Pro plus using a USB hub (which was even worse) and I tried using the headset on my PC (with four different ports) with nearly the same result.

I'm quite sure now that this isn't a USB port issue 🙂.

I could live with the quite small connection distance if there would be any possibility to switch of the beeping noises, which are by the way not really pleasant.

Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks for the update. Please PM me the serial number of your Thresher. Let's continue there.
