i think i got scammed

I bought a Razer gold card from a site and asked a friend to help redeem the ecode. Now he says it’s a used code but I think he’s trying to scam me. Is there a way I can get the exact date and time of when the card was redeemed. I’ve sent an email but i haven’t gotten a reply.
