My friend gave me a Razer mouse, I used it for a long time playing FPS games. Currently it has a faulty mouse wheel, but I don't know if it's still under warranty or not. Can anyone help me check?

Not possible, unless mouse bought directly from Razer.com and have additional Razer Care warranty. So without receipt, you do nothing unfortunately.

Did he buy from a physical store or online?
+1Also sometimes receipt is not required. For e.g. some shops (or even in some countries) they honor transaction history (from credit card).
