Incompatibility Issue with Razer's 7.1 Surround Sound Software and Certain UWP Apps | Razer Insider

I've noticed a major problem with the 7.1 Surround Sound software that Razer provides with certain headsets. It works successfully at all other times, but if a native Windows 10 app is run with "7.1 Surround Sound selected as the audio output device, the audio output from the app becomes extremely distorted. The audio sounds extremely bit-crushed. Notably this happens in Minecraft Bedrock Edition, but also in other games such as Ori and the Blind Forest (the Windows 10 store version).

The problem is fixed if I disable 7.1 Surround Sound and select "Razer Audio Controller - Game" or "Razer Audio Controller - Chat" as my audio output device.

My 7.1 Surround Sound app is up-to-date. I am using the Kraken Tournament Edition with the USB DAC.
