I only just recieved the controller a few hours ago, and open the first few minutes of gameplay, I have found out the the left stick randomly (and when pressed down) sets the X and Y position to 100% for a random amount of time without being able to stop it.

This is making the controller practically useless. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

I have also just opened the box of a Razer Wolverine V3 Pro and have experienced extreme stick drift on the right stick making the controller unusable. The D-pad and left stick are also making it difficult to even turn off the controller as they skip over the next selection like I’m hitting the button twice. This happens in all directions I installed the update in the XBOX app and nothing changed I turned off the double dead zone and nothing changed.

Same, completely new gamepad. I disconnect usb cable to Xbox , shutdown console then wait little and reconnect plus start console.  this was working method so far to stop right stick from moving to right side by it self. Could not shutdown console even. Buttons not registering at that time. Will experiment bit trying to update firmware and if this continues will return to Amazon and request change for defective unit. Will post here updates of resolution.

I have actually v3 TE version but exactly same problems. What I done so far is updated firmware on PC (Xbox not available). Initially it appeared the R stick drift/auto move gone or at least reduced. Then got new super light usb c cable to see if this is some relation and appeared to fix/reduce issue but not really it still once or twice (per game) goes out of control. Then tried to start Xbox console with hard button on it self (not starting via gampad) and this also appears to reduce the issue actually could sometimes play game without issue. But then randomly again. Interesting thing I noticed the first real stick out of control happened when experimenting with haptics/rumble intensity then first full crazy auto stick occurred the hard button on console was only way out. Tried all options except keeping controller cable  dissconected after stop playing and connect each time before play this one may even work if this is some electric glitch bug about. Will update if some changes or resolution. Suspecting the gamepad is defective, thinking to return then worrying this will happen with new one as well as some users report (perhaps defective batch of flawed design)… otherwise loving this controller, my favorite rn.

What you guys done to stop this stick drift any progress?  Did you try to play with haptics off? It’s maybe the haptics jerking electronics components inside and causing stick drift?

Ok here is latest stuff what I done so far to get rid of insane stick drift. Today I tried next: first done several many repeated stick presses R & L (this two are rarely used), opened custom main gamepad profile then reset all setting to default wiped all customizations. I think reset everything on gamepad to default. Then again re customized favorite button mappings as before (stick presses to m4 and m3, I hate stick presses). Then gone purposely to haptics settings and set to 0 then to 1 next 2 next 3 … till the last number and then back in reverse order several times like warming up rumbler strongly (was thinking maybe is there something in it interfering with stick so if I rumble many times it may feel off)… basically pressed several times R & L stick then reset all gamepad settings to default and warmup haptics rumbler. Next started to play game on Xbox, on my surprise for the first time since owing this gamepad there was no stick drift happening in 3 hours of Jedi fallen gameplay (note: this game there is plenty of haptic feedback). So my conclusion is maybe will this work for a while or even permanently, some micro particles seating on sensitive electronics good  warmup with haptics and stick presses seems to workout. Will update if this works persistently.
