Hi so, i’ve had my razer huntsman elite for over 3yrs now & recently i encountered an issue with my G & . keys, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t and sometimes it double enters,. I told my friends this & they recommended that i replace my switches coz it might be the root cause of the issue.
if it is swappable, can u give me a recommendation as to where i can find/buy switches?

Yes, they’re hot swappable - but you’re loosing your warranty in this way. So if you still have valid warranty - I’d just RMA it.
If not, then you can just disassemble keyboard, pop-off the faulty switch and just swap with a working one. Also you try to clean sensors on the faulty key (it’s soldered into PCB - one transmitter, and one receiver).

No, mechanical switches are not compatible with huntsman series.
For those who may not already know, there are now replacement optical switches fom Razer.com that you can purchase to replace the original optical gen2 switches, There are purple and yellow or orange I think, but ensure they are OPTICAL. 😌
