I have a win 11 64 bit machine. Just bought a razer tartarus v2 and want to map some keys so I tried to install synapse. Synapse latest seems to be the most recent version. Tried that and I get a permissions error. Checked advice on site to run as admin and disconnect razer devices. Same result.
In the end I installed chocolatey and used that to install synapse 3.
Which might not be the latest. Or maybe it is - it’s not clear from the site what difference there might be.
Maybe I’m missing out on something.
Seems a bit of an oversight really. Win 11 is pretty mainstream now.
Overall. I’m rather disappointed. Tartarus isn’t exactly a cheap bit of kit and an hour messing about trying to just install software I need to map keys is a bit of a downer.
Question
Is there a better way to install razer synapse latest?
