My headphones, the Barracuda X (2022 version) automatically connect to BT every time I turn them on. Which would be great but they automatically connect to my neighbour's TV. I connect them to my PC with the USB-C dongle, which works fine after I turn the headphones off and on again. But then every time I pause any media for more than two minutes, it switches back to BT, and once again to my neighbour's TV. This has been very annoying for both me and my neighbour.

It shouldn't automatically connect to your neighbor's TV unless it's been paired with the TV before.
If it's accidentally happened, then tell your neighbor to unpair/remove it from the TV's bluetooth settings.
As to your actual question, no, I don't believe it's possible to disable the BT connection. I wish it was as well though, just a dedicated 2.4 GHz mode.
Make it possible to cycle thru three modes: 2.4 only, BT only, and dual mode.

Have you tried draining the battery of the headset and once it's fully charged again, turn on the BT pairing mode? Does it still connect to the TV?

I have not tried that yet, but will after the battery drains.

Unfortunately it seems this is a feature of the "smartswitch", since it only happens when I pause my media. (And the Do Not Disturb from the Audio app does not help at all). So unless there is a way to reset the Bluetooth connection from the headphones themselves, it seems my only option is to hope my neighbour figires out how to unpair my headphones from his TV.

The only way is to overwrite the paired device/s. Feel free to check our self-help page for product updates and troubleshooting steps or PM me anytime should you need further assistance.
