System: windows 11

Gear: Blackwidow V3 pro

Game: Overwatch (didn't happen to my other games)

App: Synapse 3 lateset version, chroma connect + chroma studio

Frimware: lateset version



Issue: every 10-15 mins, my keyboard will glitch, the key will attach with some stupid function. For example, if i press 'S', windows search bar pops up, or if i press 'Tab', window switch pops up.



What did I try: reinstall synapse, doesn't work. I even reintall the whole system, still not work.



It happens to my other Razer keyboard as well, does anyone know how to fix this issue? its killing me :(



(sorry, english is not my first language, hoep you guys understand what am I talking about...)

Does it do the same without Synapse running?

Or did you tried other PC (also without Synapse installed)?

1. it doesn't happen if i close Synapse (at least not happened in the 2 hours game paly), thats why i guess it might be the Synapse problem.

2. sorry i dont have another PC for the test, all other computers are Mac system 😞 can't play game on it.

Ok, let's try this steps:

Uninstall Synapse, then download and use this tool to remove any drivers/leftovers: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj

After this, restart your PC, and after restart download&install Synapse (as administrator - right click on it and choose this option).

unfortunately I've done this before, even reinstall the whole system :(

btw whats the different between normal install and install as adminstrator, i know it will be different, but how lol

By reinstall you mean disk format, and clean windows install? Or just windows refresh/reset to defaults?

If you still have Synapse - please check what happens if you create a new (empty) profile for your keyboard.

I mean disk format and clean windowsa install.

Now, i am trying a new solution, use regeditor to disable the win key in system level.

Because in my guess, it might be the keyboard somehow trigger the win key even i disabled it in game mode.

So far it works ok, but i only have 1 hour to test the game. tonight i will run a stress testing by play overwatch 2-3 hours see how it works.

Oh btw, i did try set up a new empty profile, it doesn't work 😞

Yeah, it works, this time, my keyboard works fine for the first 3 hours, then suddenly, it crash again. this time is the right Alt and right shift keys. these 2 keys stuck in the system level. now i can do is use the regeditor to block these 2 keys as well since normally i don't use these keys.

tomrrow, lets see how it works ;)



and I search the other web, there are few people have the same problem with different brand of keyboards. So i guess this time may not be the Synapse?



what they do is,

1. keep press alt ctrl and shift for few times, and the issue will fix.

2. press win+L to log out and then log in again, the issue will fix.

3. press ctrl+al+del then press ESC to cancel, the issue will fi.

Dude, it works! just press Win+L, and you will logout to the welcome screen, then log in again, the bug fixed.

In this case, guess its neither the hardware nor the Synapes problem, its the windows.
