Issue with Lighting on DeathStalker V2 Pro After Idle Time

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with my DeathStalker V2 Pro keyboard. The RGB lighting turns off after a period of inactivity, which is expected, but the problem is that it doesn’t turn back on when I resume using the keyboard. Pressing keys does not bring the lighting back — only restarting the Razer Synapse software resolves the issue.

Both the keyboard firmware and the USB dongle firmware are updated to the latest available versions. I’ve also verified that the lighting profile is properly configured in Razer Synapse, but the issue still persists.

Could you please assist me with resolving this?

Hi omri.nahmani,

I understand that you're having an issue with your DeathStalker V2 Pro, where the RGB lighting turns off after a period of inactivity and does not automatically reactivate when you start using the keyboard again. I've also noted that the only way to resolve this currently is by restarting the Razer Synapse software. To fix the RGB lighting problem with your device, please try the troubleshooting steps below:

1. Kindly check the Power Management settings. Access your computer's power management settings and ensure that the USB ports are not set to power down when idle. Go to Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus controllers, right-click each one, select "Properties," and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" under the "Power Management" tab.

2. Open Razer Synapse and navigate to your keyboard settings.

Check the "Lighting" tab to ensure the settings are configured correctly. Make sure the "Switch off lighting" settings are as per your preference.

3. Check if the software is causing the issue by closing all Razer apps and other keyboard configuration software.

4. If closing Razer Synapse fixed the issue, reinstall your keyboard drivers, and perform a clean reinstall of Razer Synapse.

5. Check if the issue happens using a different Razer ID.

6. Check if the issue persists with a different PC.
