Issue with loading synapse 3

I have been having a very persistent issue with synapse 3. Whenever I try to open it, it gets stuck loading. I have seen people having the issue of seeing the splash screen, but mine is a grayed out dashboard with a loading wheel with none of my devices listed. There isn't even a way to close the program besides task manager because I can't interact with any of the buttons due to everything being grayed out. This makes my devices run as if they are fresh out of the box which wouldn't be a problem other than the fact that the lighting is stuck as spectrum cycling. I hate spectrum cycling. But the weird thing is that my synapse 2 runs perfectly fine. I have not been able to find a single thread talking about this specific issue, so I would try my luck here. I have tried completely reinstalling to no avail. Any help is appreciated!
