Issue with Volume Knob on Razer BlackShark V2

Hi everyone,

I’m using the Razer BlackShark V2 with the USB sound card and I’ve been having a strange issue with the volume knob.

  • Sometimes when I turn it left, the volume goes up instead of down, and vice versa.

  • Around the middle point (about 50% volume), I start hearing a static/crackling noise when adjusting the knob.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a known issue with the USB sound card, or is my unit possibly defective?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I would lean towards a possible hardware issue with the knob itself. Try using a compressed can of air to clean the affected knob and see if there’s a difference. If the headset is still within its warranty period, try contacting your reseller and see if they can replace it. Feel free to send me a PM should you need additional assistance.
